The podcast player is built on Base. From a user experience perspective, we have abstracted out Web3; functionally, it is like a normie podcast player.
The way it works is simple: listen to a supported a podcast episode, and you will receive an NFT signifying you listened to that episode.
We prefer to call them "loyalty badges," and technically they're called MINTs (Media Incentive Network Tokens).
The podcaster can determine how to use these tokens (recognizing loyal listeners, token gated events, discounts on merch, etc.)
